On the morning of June 2, 2017, Destiny Weaver was found murdered inside a vehicle at Tower Park near East 76th Street and Holmes Road in Kansas City, MO. Authorities are still seeking the culprits involved with her murder.

Destiny's mother, Ms. Coody, still feels the pain every time she shares her story. However, it is through the pain that she has birthed this 501(c)(3) nonprofit, Justice 4 Destiny, Inc. She chose to display her pain by reaching out to the community and helping to provide services that offer emotional and practical support to those who have lost loved ones to homicide.
